🔹Frisomat warehouse in Ntchengue (Port-Gentil, Gabon)

Built for the coast. Designed to last.

In Ntchengue, near Port-Gentil, the project required a workshop capable of withstanding high humidity, salty air, and heavy daily use without compromising the speed of construction.

GMCIS, in collaboration with Frisomat, has completed the installation of a prefabricated steel workshop that is perfectly suited for demanding environments.

Why this solution makes a difference: 🚢 Lightweight steel components: optimized transport, reduced logistics costs 🔩 Pre-drilled profiles and bolted connections: quick and efficient on-site assembly 👷 Installation provided by GMCIS under technical supervision 🛡️ High-protection coating: maximum corrosion resistance

Thanks to its cold-formed galvanized steel structure, foundation requirements are minimized while ensuring exceptional durability, even in harsh marine environments.

Quick to build. Durable. Designed for coastal performance.

🔹 BANBA Jack-Up Rig Construction Site

These photos show welding operations carried out on the BANBA jack-up rig under difficult access conditions.

These operations include, in particular, the welding of gussets and braces—tasks that require great precision and a high level of skill.

These operations require a 6GR qualification, in accordance with BV certification standards, such as the one obtained through our specialized training courses.

🔹 GMCIS TRAINING

GMCIS continuously enhances its teams' skills through specialized training programs in welding and offshore operations.

Recently, four IRATA-certified welding technicians and five ship repair welders specializing in confined spaces obtained 6GR certification under the supervision of Bureau Veritas.

This certification confirms their ability to perform complex work in any position on critical structures such as offshore platforms, ships, and industrial equipment.

The inspections were conducted in accordance with the international standards AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and ISO 9606-1, including visual and radiographic inspections as well as destructive testing.

📊 Result: a high success rate, reflecting the high level of expertise of the GMCIS teams.
